Not sure how to post the thing though!!!
That might not do me much good, seeing as I paid £40 from Debenhams for it. I know its likely that it would sell for at least £40 and above, having been watching for a while, but there are so many listed at the moment, it's possible it might not reach that - there'll be a bidding war on another same item pushing the price of that one up to £60 and mine will sit there with only one bid at £19.99!
I was watching the battle packs the other day, and most were going for well over £40 - someone had listed one for £19.99 plus reasonable postage, they've got 100% feedback and received no bids!
Oh well, I still have a few days to decide whether to sell or return.0 -
If I was in your position, I would put it on EBAY on a 10 day listing - I agree there are alot going at the moment and you will certainly get more than you originally paid for it. The closer it is getting to Christmas, people will pay more as you cannot get these for love nor money!!
I managed to get 3 extra from Tesco's and I got a total of £215 on EBAY - not bad eh??
As for postage, I would put a £10 charge for Royal Mail Standard Parcels which includes a £80 compensation limit.0 -
I'm pretty tempted too. Had a panick then ended up with one battle pack, which I'm def gonna keep and two of the larger ones. Not sure what to keep or take back, selling is a good idea but I'm not the lucky type either and I've only bought before not sold. How do you pack these things (they're not small) to guarantee they don't get wrecked in the post?0

Don't know if anyone has noticed but there appears to be some fake ones on Ebay right now (well, ones that aren't made by Character Online/BBC). I've got an extra one that i'm selling on there and I too was perplexed as to why some weren't selling at all and others were going mad but I noticed that some were in different boxes and they weren't 'Official' Daleks! So be careful if buying one from there.2 angels in heaven :A0

Also, Empirestores have more than doubled the price on theirs to £59.99 (was £24.99) and they STILL haven't got any!!! Delivery expected in 5-7 weeks.2 angels in heaven :A0

pack it in a decent sized box and make sure you pack it well with bubble wrap. and mark the box as fragile.
Just make sure that you insure it through royal mail for about £80 so if anything does go wrong then at least you will not have lost any money0 -

I think you might be referring to the "old" Daleks - made by Product Enterprise - they were officially licensed by the BBC I believe, but old style packaging, logo, etc, from a few years ago.
As far as I know, they do pretty much the same thing as the new Daleks, phrases, flashing communication lights, etc, (I think the eyestalk glows too), and they came in a variety of different colours, but even before this latest activity on Ebay the RRP was £59.99.
I know nothing about the quality of the 12" ones, but I do have the 6" talking Dalek by Product Enterprise, it is official and does look decent quality, although compared to the Character Options ones, the packaging looks old and totally naff!0 -
Anyone got any tips on a site/store which may have stock? My bf has become totally obsessed with this since I mentoined the tesco deal but I am at the point of willing to pay almost anything to find it...someplace! Thanks!0
