2) Dalek Battle Pack - 2 x 5" daleks, interactive - score five hits against the other and you "deactivate" it - apparently the front comes off and reveals the squidgy thing inside.
Apparently when the company who are behind the merchandising announced the products in a press release they said the Battlepack Daleks would have pop off fronts, now they are available - well sort of available somebody seems to have made a huge cockup somewhere - they don't have the "mutant reveal" feature.
Lot's of web pages, though not the stockists, still have the original product art work shown with the feature but afaict the products don't.Joe

Where did you find this info please? I ordered online on the 9th and got confirmation but my order now seems stuck.
The product page a couple of days later said 2-3 weeks, now it says 5-6 weeks.
My sister who buys lots of stuff from Kays, and has often been messed about over deliveries, thinks there's a very good chance now that they will not arrive until after Xmas.
cheersJoe

I telephoned Kays this morning and asked the status of my order. She said my order was still on their systems (which was my point of phoning as Empire had "lost" the order I placed with them), and that her screen was telling her supplies would be delivered by 30th November. When I ordered (the day before you on 8th), my daleks said "in stock", then the following day went to "2-3 weeks" like you say. Who knows? If and when I get them, I will let you know. Hopefully you will be in the "30th Nov" batch and anyone placing orders now will be near to christmas?0 -

Well fingers crossed :-) Hope everyone who wants them gets them.
I have a feeling that who ever the company behind the products are, they really don't have the experience or skills to deal effectively with the manufacturers in the PRC. Mind you going out there and dealing with them is not a job I would take on lightly :-)Joe

Just annoying really - I heard in the summer that this was going to be the christmas toy of the year (have been looking since then), and it's only the last month or so that they have started appearing...are they nuts?? They must have known how big this was going to be - esp since the last series of Dr Who. Like you say - lets hope we all get what we want at the end of the day......still a few weeks left!! xx0

Thanks for that info, Speedyjoe, I wasn't aware that the products supposed to be hitting stores didn't have "mutant reveal" - I'd forgotten what it was called!0 -
Some argos stores have the 12" Daleks in stock to collect at full price (£39.99). Coventry city arcade and rugby stores are showing as in stock, as was Fosse Park, leicester where I have reserved one.
My local Woolworths (Hinckley) were selling the mini 5" ones today at £16.99 -10%, they had a few.

I got a gold 12" Dalek today in Hexham's Tesco Extra. (£19.99) Apparently they've only ever had 2 in with it being a brand new store, but are expecting lots more next week!
Hope this helps someone!
