I love to read, knit, cross stitch , making cards for friends and family, reading anything on here about saving money etc:) what a brilliant brilliant site, and watching a good drama on t.v I also enjoy going to a good concert with my husband from time to time, as we are both blues fans. I nearly forgot gardening when I am able to, and I also love to stretch myself by learning new things so have signed on locally for two more classes.Do a little kindness every day.;)0

My hobby/pastime is fishing, my partner and I go most weekends off a pier, breakwater or the rocks. Last weekend I caught a mackerel and a pollock. Its relaxing and you get to meet people.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

From a very early age I became fascinated by photographic images and it became a hobby that has stayed with me to the present day, and I am now approaching 60.
On recent retirement I treated myself to some beautiful Nikon kit and I'm having a ball with it. The results might still be naff, but my enjoyment of the hobby transcends the few skills I have.
If like me, you like looking at other peoples' photos, do pay a visit to my galleries ... http://www.pbase.com/davecq

Time is money they say and at the moment the trend seems once again to be using all available time to make money. Hobbies and leisure interests are so important though. My son and I are starting up in web design by way of a hobby, and that takes a lot of our time, this Sunday just gone we took the day "Off" and went to Warwick castle.. we both felt as though we had been away on holiday for a week when we got back.. and yet our website doodarz.com is supposed to me a relaxing thing to do thats completly about relaxing things to do.. just about sports hobbies and leisure time.. yet somehow even though we love what we are doing and its supposed to be a hobby.. its quite suprising how little we do actually relax.. going off and doing something completely different for the day really does work.... in the evening a big conversation enused about our usual weekends "working" on building the site and we did both agree in the end that while we consider it a hobby.. to be fair its actually work... so for me my hobby would be photography... but work does seem to be ruling our lives more and more at the moment... maybe its time to take five and think about it all more?0
