"Unforunately Clubcard Plus Account was withdrawn on 27 July 2009."

Hi there apoligies if this has been asked before:-

I've just picked up my tesco Credit Card which when i applied asked to have paired with my clubcard. However the clubcard number on it is different than that of my original clubcard and when i asked the lady on the phone she said that was fine. However i used the Credit Card a few times (not in tesco so should be 1 point/4£) yesterday and the points i should have got are not showing on my account when i log in online - does this normally take a few days to show or has something gone wrong?

    Thanks!

    Jon B

Give it a few more days before becoming concerned as the points can take longer to be added around the end of the quarter when the mailings are going out!

It's been replaced by CLubcard 2. It's coming out on monday...double points on everything.

Points earned by spending on the credit card at non-tesco shops have taken as long as a fortnight to show up on my account.

I was shocked to see somebody mention that a maximum value restriction has been put on cosmos and virgin holidays. When did that happen? I'm a bit miffed because that was what I was saving up for.
All the really good rewards such as MFI and Motorpoint have pulled out of the scheme and now the good ones left are adding restrictions. Grrrr!

Yes, they do take a while to arrive. I always thought they were credited when you pay your credit card bill?

I do know that you effectively have 2 clubcards combined for your credit card. Your Clubcard no. showing on your receipt at Tesco is actually the last 4 digits of your credit card, rather than as would normally show, your Clubcard.

My points from my credit card never show online. I stopped using my Clubcard as don't need it any more now, just use my Tesco credit card and my balance for my actualy clubcard is frozen at the £1 that must have been on it, when they merged the 2.
  • There was an offer with my Clubcard Statement, sign up for the DVD Rental service for theee months and get 1,000 points. The packages start from £3.88 a month. Does this make a £28 proffit in reward vouchers, surly there must be a catch?

I'm sure this must have been posted previously so apologies if repeating previous post.

I've always calculated the value of points to be 4x, in other words 500 extra points to be worth £20,
but with every new issue of the clubcard deals brochure, there are fewer "four times the value" deals and instead more buy in full deas (some of which are worth considerably less than 4x).

How long will everybody else be waiting before starting to calculate their earned points/deals at a more realistic ratio, say, worth 2x the point value instead ???

My thoughts exactly. I wish Martin would stop headlining with 4x value making us profit when in his own articles he admits that its not really 4x. He's making Clubcard points seem better than they actually are which isn't really in the spirit of money saving!
