Hi, I have just decided to start saving my vouchers for a trip to New York - am excited about this already lol! I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me where I get the details of how i can use my vouchers for other things
I'd like to find out what I need to save then I can see how much I need to do etc. - I apologise if this is a silly question but I have never used vouchers before

Go to www.tesco.com bottom left there is a clubcard, with your mouse on it - it reveals other options, go to 'how to spend' next page in two sections - go to bottom section - partners - click on 'find out more' - which then reveals a whole new page of info on alternative 'deals' for Tesco vouchers.
NB - if saving your vouchers - keep them in a safe place (but not too safe i.e. don't lose them), and keep the earliest vouchers on top - to make sure they don't go out of date!I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Some advice needed, would really appreciate your help!
So far this year, we've got £27 worth of clubcard vouchers which we are going to convert to deals and get my engagement ring from Goldsmiths. A couple of people (next door neighbour and Oh's parents) have said we can have their clubcard vouchers. I can obviously get them to order deal vouchers for us but will the vouchers they receive to spend at Goldsmiths have their names on them. I know they are non-transferable but have no idea what this means.
We can take them shopping for the ring with us, that isn't a problem, would Goldsmiths accept them if the people they belonged to are with us? I can't find anything online to answer my questions so I'm hoping one of the regulars can help.
Pretty please, advice desperate. I don't want to wait forever to get my ring!
You won't be able to use theirs - they come with a surname and you cannot combine them. Goldsmith even has a minimum spend of £200 required to be able to use vouchers and I doubt they would let you get around it by combining different people's vouchers. Then you could easily buy them online on Ebay just to add up to the required spend (not that people still don't sell them...;)).
The easiest way to get around it is to order extra key fobs for your card and give them to your neighboroughs and OH's parent to use instead of their own club card.0 -
I wanted to pick the brains of the points-savvy people on here if I may?
Up to now, me and my husband have always used the points we earned to spend in-store. I now want to collect points for a specific goal. I would love to go to Thailand later in the year to travel around for a couple of weeks.
My question is, would I be better off using my points for a cosmos deal, a virgin deal, or converting them to airmiles?
I currently have 2900 points which I think gives me £116 in rewards. Also, is it better to book now and put down a deposit then collect points or collect points first then book?Sorry I'm new to this and trying to get my head around it!0 -

First of all - just to avoid any misunderstanding - you can't spend the points, only the cash vouchers that get sent to you at certain periods in the year. When you have an idea what you want - then you can start saving your vouchers for it - next ones out in May.
Second, enjoy Thailand great place.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

Just keep collecting and keep your paper Tesco vouchers and when you have enough have a look which way it comes up best value. Have a look at Cosmos & Virgin and Airmiles how much would you need just to give you an idea how much you will need.
First you have to change into the vouchers for the specific deal and then book.
Don't forget that Cosmos & Virgin have a limit now of how much of a payment you can use in vouchers - Cosmos I think £400 per person and Virgin £700 per person.
Also if you didn't yet sign up for an email to get from Airmiles with special offers do it - Airmiles send email out every Thursday with special offers and nearly every week there is some package holiday. Couple of weeks ago there was 14 nights in Thailand in 4* hotel and often it has combination of miles and £ payment (if you do it already this year you might not collect enough for full payment). These are usually very good deals.0 -
