Thanks for the support Big Beff and Scaredandindebt.
I will get the moneysaving tools out tomorrow: the budget and the spending diary and post my SOA. I am doing overtime tonight so it all helps. I dont want to post my SOA on here. I will probably post on debtfree wannabe. Reason being that this is a very positive thread and I dont want to spoil the lovely optimistic tone of it. But I will carry on making a payment a day, probably just 50 p at the moment of the old Tesco credit card.
Just think this time next year life could be so much more rosier if a large hunk of my debt was paid off. Let's drink to next year and a lighter load of debt.:beer:In Shackles to the debt God to the tune of nearly £4000 but at least my sigs got pretty colours in it!
Barclaycard £3000
Tesco Credit Card £1233.84
Argos £328.54
Total: £4652.380 -
I am so looking forward to being debt-free!
*enjoying turning into a compulsive debt paying debt-free wannabe!*
Not sure if I can always make a payment each day, but will make at least one bigger payment each week or every couple of days.
You are all doing so well - an inspiration! x0 -
I had ANOTHER letter from Next today asking me to get in touch about my internet payments. It's getting a bit annoying now. Misty Blue - maybe you should write to them, send a letter recorded delivery and then they should really sort it out.
Just a tip for anyone - check out 'Entitled To' (google) and check to see you are getting all the help you are entitled to. Being in debt is not easy, but could be harder for those who don't realise there may be help with living and housing costs.
Also for those on benefits - a friend of mine checked out 'Warm Front' (google) and is going to receive free insulation and home improvements from the government.
Every little helps! x0 -
