Two people said that to me this year when I said I was going! A couple of years ago, I had an old photo of Peter Buck as my office screensaver and a colleague asked: "Is that the bloke from Blue?"

Its a good idea. I like it. I had thought where I used to spend £1.50 per day on 2 bottles of Coke - and I am trying to reduce the coke completely I could make a payment of the money I save to one of my debts.
I think I might start to do this now. Well done.
Oo that's a good idea. Rather than spend £2-£3 a day on the office vending machine I'm going to pay off my old student overdraft £1150.
Count me in! :money:The only thing worse than smug married couple; lots of smug married couples.0 -
Well, from yesterday, I managed to put aside £5.60 (left over from last week's spending money) and 80p I found in an old purse!!:rotfl: From today....I've put aside £1.60 - so far this week.....£8.00 to go towards my credit card:T - made my main payment yesterday so will put aside the cash & pay when I have a good chunk saved (can't be doing with queing (?sp) at the bank too often:rotfl: )
Well done everyone!!!!:T20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

I paid off the Egg card the other day when I sold my old car, and £500 off DHs Virgin card too, which leaves just £215.70 on that. We're going to make our daily payments to that and see if we can clear it by the end of Sept.
I didn't make a payment on Friday and it bugged me all weekend!0 -
Have a new plan of action now, am going to transfer my barclaycard balance where i was paying a low rate of interest, to a HSBC credit card i have just set up which has a 0% interest free period until November 2009, so fingers crossed my daily payments on 0% interest will greatly reduce my statements! :jNovember 2012 Loan [STRIKE]£18,000.00[/STRIKE]
As at 05/01/13 £15,500.00

This is great! What a fab idea, can I join too please? I am already doing the sealed pot challenge but not putting much in recently, and I was doing the monthly £10 a day challenge but finding that really hard at the mo as have 3 kids under 5 to tend with!
My goal would be to add at least £1 to my pot (not sure I could keep track of loads of little payments LOL) everyday, but if I do get extra money from mystery shopping/eBay etc then I will add this straight in! I plan to open the tin on 1st Dec to pay for Christmas but I have been stashing stuff all year so I think it would be better to pay a debt off! My target for my pot is £600 by 1/12/08
