Can I join please? I have £869.52 on my CC at the moment. I pay £150 off every month but to cancel it before Christmas is my goal and I could maybe do it with this challenge.
I pledge to pay off AT LEAST £1 a day until it is gone.
I also pledge to update my signature on mse every day so I can see my progress
I just love challenges like this. It really makes all the difference if you add it up.
Another one I do is if I have any odd pence in my account I put that into a savings account for holidays/christmas. That one really adds up too. Ah, the joys of internet banking

Hi, another one for your challenge if I may. I have £1512 on my virgin mastercard on a special rate until April 2009. I would really like to pay it off by then. I have just transfered £27.09 to bring my MP upto a nice round figure of £50.00.
I will prob be able to pay £2.00 a day, will this make much difference?

Well to further add to my woes with Unintelligent Finance....
My payment I made yesterday isnt showing on my account yet. So I went to try and pay some today but it says my payments has to be equal/greater than the minimum and no more than the outstanding balance!
Well I'm not paying £18 off of it a day LOL... so I was going to pay off £4.92 today, so I'm going to have to add that to the £5 i wanted to pay tomorrow, since hopefully it will clear by then....that will keep me on track hopefully...Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
will be paying an extra £22 off tommorow just waiting for money to be transferred from paypal made me feel really good when I phoned the cc yesterday to pay extra. This could become an addiction!!Make £5 a day in May total so far £20

Afternoon everyone....i'm paying £10 on day 3. My quidco won't clear for ten days because I had to change my details so i'll have to pay that when I come back from my holidays. I'm working on what I can pay tomorrow!!!
Off to update my signature xx
Edited to add - I forgot I rounded up my £96 in change to a round £100 so today I paid off £14 not £10!!! It all counts xx0 -
Rightl, slight change of plan for me. I just spoke to my Dad (who is, helpfully, a financial adviser) and he said that because my CC is 0% interest until January that I should open a high interest ISA and put most of the money into that (except minimum payment) and then pay it off in one chunk.
So I've just opened an Egg Online ISA and my £1 a day (or more) will be going into that rather than directly on the CC.
I can't wait to pay off that bad boy!! :cool:LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00
