  • SarahNeedle1872 - Well done on clearing your Egg card 6tawbqs_th.jpg ...... It must feel very strange to be in Credit with a credit card ! ..... I'm sorry , but you did make me smile when you said you said that you couln't spend it because you had cut the card into 4 pieces ......

Fixed it... did a SBT to my current account, and will pay the £76.94 back to the Egg card... the BT is at the standard rate, so no fee to pay :D Then I'll pay the 'spare' £23.06 off the Sains card..... Hope that made sense!?!

  • £4.48 to egg today. Evened up my bank account for a zero-end start to 2009.

Would be nice if 2009 ended with a zero overdraft!

Thanks Tomtombeanie and Fag_ash_lil. Feeling a little better now.

Glad you're feeling better. It's a funny old time of year isn't it? Don't be down hun as you've achieved so much. Be proud of yourself.

Terri and Greenbynature - good luck tonight, i hope things work out as you want them to.

Re new thread - i've sent Emily a pm re the new thread to ask if she'd like to start one or is she happy for one of us too. If it's one of us we can be sure to post links to this and be clear it was Emily that started it anyway.

    Hi everyone

I have replied to Hopeful's PM but thought I would pop on here too and say that it's absolutely fine to start a new thread. I'm sorry I haven't been around on here as much as I used to be. Part of me wishes that I hadn't gone on the DMP so I could still see my debts coming down really quickly but I am less stressed now that I'm on the DMP.

I am really proud that my little idea has helped so many people to clear their debts more quickly. You have all done really well :A .

Happy New Year to everyone and let's make 2009 a year to remember :T

Wow - I popped on here for a couple of minutes and have stayed ages reading up on everyone. We are officially fabulous!

£23.50 for me today. I so wanted to get to under £100 but I couldn't get to the bank today to bank my pennies so I'll just have to get a warm glow from the knowledge that there are £10+ of pennies and pounds in my box waiting to be banked. So I will start the new year with an under £100 balance to be finished before February when I must scale the scary heights of the other card.

I hope you all have a lovely evening and sincerely wish you all the best and better for 2009.
