Good morning all
Terri - could you maybe type your post in Word etc before you come on here? That way it will be a copy and paste job if it doesn't work. You could then edit to add your lovely smilies. Just a thought
I'm off to update my own thread shortly, so won't bore you with my sales adventures, but I've made my PAD for today - £1.50 to the Overdraft account and £1.67 to the dreaded Barclaycard.
Back to work tomorrowbut only working till 1pm on Hogmanay
then off again till next Monday.
Have a nice Sunday all0 -
Morning all,:hello:
hope everyones well.
£9.28 to Barclaycard today.
I'm away for almost a week from tomorrow and won't have internet access! So will have to make 6 payments before I go as I don't want to miss a day! Sad or what
Have a great Sunday!

morning, early one from me (well, early for me anyway
). and that's only cause i was tucked up in bed by half past nine
- all these late nights have done me in!
a pound to savings today. i'm beginning to have the first little thoughts about not joining the new, cheaper gym in january.this would mean an extra £34 for savings or debt to DS's each month. hmmmmm....still not *totally* decided, but i have to admit i haven't missed it this month (still technically a member of expensive gym until 31 dec but with xmas plays, shopping, general feelings of sloth etc i have only been twice
since beginning of the month). i got a lovely shiny new pink and silver bike for christmas
so i should be zooming around on that rather than riding to nowhere on an exercise bike in a sweaty gym!
terri, thanks for the link - i've not heard of it so will ring this week to check whether we ever had that particular credit. fingers crossed! happy sunday everyone. xxMortgage free as of 11/11/15 !
:Anow... to start some serious saving :A

Hi all, been reading through this thread for ages and have decided to join in.I have online banking withh dd set up.How do i go about paying extra to them?
When you log on to your internet banking, look for a section shown as "bill payments" or similar. You will need to set up a bill payment as shown somewhere on the back of your credit card bill. There should be a section showing you the credit card company's sort code and account number.
On your internet banking therewill also be a section for you to put your reference number (usually your 16 digit card number) so that they know who has paid and the name of the bill payment - for your own easy reference. Please note that some CC companies reduce your DD accordingly when you pay an extra payment. If you are with one that does this, you may have to EITHER choose to pay a FIXED DD each month rather than the minimum payment (ensuring that the fixed payment is always more than their minimum) OR time you extra payments for a time in the billing cycle when this reduction in DD won't occur. IME most just accept extra payments for what they are but not all of them do this.0 -
Morning everyone. I haven't transferred any payments today. I'm waiting for the banking to catch up with itself tomorrow so i can see exactly what's what. I'm still saving £2s, some £1s and 50ps. 1 more 50p and i'll have a tenner. All extra funds will have to go to gas bill. The general change jar is looking healthy too, so may be counting it very soon
:santa2: Jo have a great week. Take care xxx
P.S Terri - thanks for that link. My little one was born feb 2003 so no good for me, but i hope everyone entitled claims it. Typical government not advertising things people were entitled to, hey?!One step at a time0 -
Another £1.28 to the egg card fo me today.

I'm also going to find the NSD challenge for jan and join making these 3 challenges my new years resolution to stick to.
Thanks for the advice posted earlier on the childrens tax credit i'm going to look into that this week an extra £500 would be very handy indeed!Total Debt 10/5/2009, £2189.10, 1/6/09 £1420.75
1/7/09 £1661.66, after 2 holidays 1/9/09 £1725.36
