Only 1 more sleep till Santa!!!!!! 1215.gif

Payment of £1.50 to the Pay Off the Dratted Overdraft account.

Oddly, I feel as though I haven't done that well today because I made such big payments yesterday, but I am remembering the mantra of "A payment a day makes the debt go away" - if I made big payments every day I would run out of money within the week!!

I will throw a wee post in here tomorrow as I am always up stupidly early in the morning :D but for those with more of a life, have a wonderful Christmas!

    Hey there,

More info on the new charging policy from Bank of Scotland. It's only the Moneyback customers who are going over to the new account right away (And I'm one of them, lol) I think the rest are being done on a phased basis. If you are a Moneyback customer, you are allowed to cancel your account early and the bank will still payout your Moneyback to you - you can then either close the account and go elsewhere, or redesignate it to an account which isn't charging at the moment.

I hope this makes sense to you! If not, go and see your branch to find out if you're one of the customers who will be affected in February.

Thanks Fresian it is a moneyback account I have. I only have £200 overdraft and have enough to cover that, however I will take a trip in and see them in the new year and discuss it. I am certainly not paying £30 a month for the sake of £200:eek:

£3.22 for me today rounding down bank account again.
  • I've not been very good with pad recently, but have signed up to a thing with lloydstsb where they round up any switch transactions to the nearest £ and transfer to my savings account, so due to that there's still been a few pennies going in, will be back properly in jan though. Just wanted to say merry christmas to everyone :-)

  • £5 to nationwide, £2.07 to savings - I'm weird because I like my current account and my debt to be nice round numbers...
Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP

i suspect there a lot of weird people about - i'm the same. that odd 6p in my savings irritates me every time i see it - will have to sort it out when i do my pad later.

feeling a bit flat, so made myyself get busy: christmas veg all prepped and ready to cook (now in bags in the fridge). made cauliflower cheese soup (did go to asda last night - looked like they had been raided but didn't have to queue so was pleased). kids fighting over vsmile. DH trying to do some last minute work from home. i'm going to get out of my pajamas now :o and wear out the kids with a bike ride or similar before we watch "elf" this afternoon.

back later with pad - have a lovely christmas eve, everyone! xx
