    Morning all.

Hmmm, Cuba holiday. Realised that wifes passport is in maiden name, and also noticed that Cuban visa (£15.00 each) were not on holiday invoice although this was agreed and (i thought) paid for at the time of booking.

Rang virgin (RIGHT palava!) on 0870 number GRRRR. (Used 18185 though).

Bloke (somewhere in Asia) said there will be a £25 charge for changing booking to maiden name. And that there was no record of the Visa booking. Well, my balance said £27.00 in credit and visas will be £30.00. No big deal. Except he wanted to charge me the £3! (+ the £25 maiden name fee).

Well, by trade I am a sales trainer and consider myself quite good at negotitation. So, got the booking changed and the visas sorted. No charge.

    Alls well that ends well!

Did wind me up though - I hate poor service with a passion. Hope the holiday is better!

Anyway, £2.50 for me today, only £20 left of SKY cc now, and will then ring to see if I can get a good 0% deal, or, even better a LOB transfer.

    HAve a good day all!

    Wee

Hmmm not being too well at pad this month. Money is a bit tight so i've only been adding little bits to my jar so far.
I'll continue adding to my pot through out dec (unless i win the lottery or have an unexpected windfall:rolleyes:) so i can get my bank and finances in some sort of order. I seem to have totally lost the plot, plus i think i may have gotten a tad carried away with pad last month:o.
But on a positive note this is the first xmas i've not had to fall back on my cc or o/d to buy stuff or to get me through so i'm extremely pleased with that:D

  • £1.50 paid off my Studio account today. Was only going to be 50p but thought I would push the boat out!:rotfl: No doubt I won't get round to doing payments over christmas and new year so will try and do a bit extra beforehand.

    Yay Hopeful1 that's brilliant news.
Just came back on to say that online banking has finally caught up with my deposit so £5 payment for me today and the min payment should go tomorrow too so that will see me down at £150 but then the nasty interest will go on so I'll need to find a few more coppers down the sides of chairs to try and make sure that I can cover that. Woohoo.:j
