£3.79 for me to the overdraft today.
Bad news is it took a bit of a battering with christmas shopping over the weekend but if I hadn't started PAD it would be looking a lot worse!

Hi All
After a fairly HORRIBLE November, I'm back.
£2.50 to loan and £2.50 to credit card. Have all but 3 Christmas pressies - they are money or vouchers - waiting for Christmas savings club to pay out on 7th December - should be £450 ish. This is all going to debts/new door/3 pressies/outings over Christmas (2 nights out so far). Challenge for Jan 09 - reduce the debt even further. Thank goodness this thread is here to inspire us all.

tomtombeanie - Snap ! I always buy something new for the Christmas tree every year ... mines usually just a cheap "bauble / dangly " for it ..... Hopefully the Quidco payment will " hit " the bank soon ..... I have the " mecca " money and " post office glitch " money due .... Also great idea to fill a sealed tin when cahoot isn't working .....

The Good - Added £1 to my pot ....
Still got 1 jar of Nutella left !! ....

The Bad - see below !
What an evening last night !! .... It was CHOCCY free !! ..... Yes you've read that correctly .... So much for me " piggin " out on my 2 jars of Nutella .... my daughter was meant to be out for the afternoon and then staying at her friends for the night ...... Anyway in she trots late afternoon and announces that she's staying in !! Bleedin' teenagers ! ..... Unfortunatley she's been putting on weight lately so i didn't want to get the Choccy ( nutella ) out while she was around as i don't want to encourage her to pig out ! ...... Couldn't even manage to have a crafty spoonful or 2 or 3 as we seemed to be " joined at the hip " all night ..... So i never ended up eating it last night ............. but ........... she's been out with her friend and her nan today so i've been a total pig and eaten 1 jar ..... and now feel sick !! ............But wait for it ........ This could turn out to be " money saving " after all , the nutella comes in a " glass " ..... so i have only got to eat another 5 and someone can have a have a full set of 6 glasses for Christmas ..... ..... What do you reckon then ?? ! ....
Been raining here most of the day ....

Keep " snuggly " and warm ...

I had a wonderful time, thanks!! I saw jaguars and tapirs and all sorts :D Would have been a no spend day, but I had to get stuff to make my lunches for the week. Yesterday I bought a flask as I had totted up the amount of money I spend on tea in a week at work and got scared :eek: so hopefully I will be saving lots of money next week!

*edit* Just to ask, where do you all get your cool smileys from? I can only figure out how to use the MSE ones...
