  • Morning everyone

    £2.12 to the pot today.

Have just updated my tiotals and joined the clear debts by end 2009 challenge

    CC1 4900 6.9% LOB
    CC2 5800 0% for 16 months
    CC3 3000 0% for 5 months
    CC4 2100 0% for another 4 months
    CC5 2550 0% for another 4 months

    £18350

Going to spend PAD concentrating on CC1, CC4 and CC5

CC4 and CC5 are PAD are going to be paid into a savings account to earn a bit of interest with the plan to have a fair chunk saved by the end of February  so that when the 0% runs out I can thenl be applying for a 0% or LOB card to transfer the rest to.
Everytime I want a Costa at work I am going to log on to chuck this into the savings account, every lunch I take will have a value of £2.50 so each time that will be thrown into the savings account. I don't buy magazine anymore, so can't save that money.

Any overtime or on call money and my annual bonus which was predicted as just over £4K in August will be chucked at CC3, so should hopefully clear that before it goes up to the ridiculous 22.9%.

I will get this sorted sooner, rather than later.

All the best to everyone. :A

  • Just found this thread and can i join in please ?
    Great idea
Not sure i can manage a payment a day so i will put money into my 'Godzilla' money box :o and make 1 payment a week
I have just paid an extra £5 off my argos card so that makes £80 this month instead of the £20 that is the minimum payment
Im goin to try to pay off the argos card in this way much quicker than i was thinking and then i can make a start on my Beneficial cc which at 33% is ridiculous
I suppose i should pay the extra off that but if i can get rid of the argos card it will motivate me
