purpleposting4 - Hi , a friend of mine cleans flats for a local estate agent in between " rentals " ... Anyway the estate agent told him yesterday that the flats that he normally and easily rents out for £1300 :eek: a month are not renting at the moment ( not surprised at that price ! ) so he has had to drop the rental price on them to £850 a month .... So i wouldn't worry about " upping " your offer for your house .... I would just wait if i was you ..... and
hopefully they will accept your offer ....Anyway keep us posted !

Am mega skint till tuesday .... But will make extra payments then to make up for today and tomorrow ...

Hi peeps!

I've finally started my payment-a-day!! £6.32 has gone into the pot.

I'll be adding all the bits and bobs of change that I get / find (I've just moved house so i'm bound to find some!!), then paying them onto the CAPITAL 1 CARD on the first saturday of every month. With the minimum payment DD, and £10 standing order, it should melt away. Hmmm......why didn't i try this sooner?

Wasn't sure I'd have anything for today but just got home from my friends house and an email for anothe rbook sale so £2.42 today, very pleased that this stuff is selling not only for the money but so I can reclaim some space!

Well I go away for two days and you lot go into overdrive!

What a lot of pennies and pounds! And I love the new totals - that's fantastic. Nothing much for me these last days because of being away and not really having any more money until the end of the week unless some books sell. And interest on my CCs too - so am actually doing worse than on my last post but only by a little bit in the overall sense.

going for another no spend day today - DS1 poorly so probably won't leave the house. had two over the weekend (weather so awful here we stayed in yesterday and spent sat at a friend's house).

Morning all, hope everyone had a good weekend.

Didn't have internet access over the weekend so here is my update!
Saturday - £3.74 to O/D
Sunday - £2.23 to O/D
Today - £4.10 to CC

So total of £10.07

I made a bit of a decision at the weekend, I am sick of being overweight and in debt so as of today I am doubling me efforts, going to re-giggle money to cheapest this evening and go to a gym class - found one that is pay as you go so no need to commit and if i can't afford it one week then i just don't go. Also brought in home made lunch today
