speechless-smiley-040.gif Oh dear! Having just done my first payment in the payment for the day challenge I have
    a. discovered I have a credit card I had no knowledge of! (so promptly cancelled that...too much of a temptation!) and

    b. realised I have gone over my credit limit of £1250.00 with mint and my balance is actually £1262.12 angry-smiley-030.gif really annoyed at myself for taking my eye off the ball with that, god knows what charges im gonna incur for that !!!! up! But anyway put £3.17 on the card and will keep up with the daily challenge as clearly even though I thought I had everything under control I don't!! biggrin.gif

    Hello

I used to come on here and paid some of my debts off but still got quite a bit and could do with some motivation. Thought this thread was a great idea so I've started small and am looking to pay my £12 late payment on my credit card for being late by a day because their bank takes ages to process the payment.

So far I have paid £3.50 over the past 3 days so I only have £8.50 to pay off this debt, then it's on to the credit card itself - all £2,472.88 of it

    Please can I join?

    OMG - I went on the radio this morning and won £350 :j :j :j :j :D:D:D  .

I would just love to pay all of this off the Barclaycard and basically get rid of the majority of it, but I have to be realistic as I have bills that I need to pay. I think I will pay £50 off the Barclaycard though :D .

Welcome all newbies - I have added you all to the list :D .

  • Found todays payment! Took kids to local nature reserve for walk and picnic, - budget for day £10 - Parking and icecream money - but when we got there "found" a valid carpark ticket, so used that - i no they are not transferable, but it had been paid for the people only stayed an hour and parking is day rate so it was rude not to use it :o

so I claim £2 for todays saving, also got a £2 which has gone in my sealed tin, cos we came in under budget.

total savings for challenge £72.25 so far (£927.75 to go)

Thank you Emily for starting the challenge:T
Hoping to stick to the challenge this year!!
