well today is payday and although its a much smaller pay than I am used to and I have no idea if i can make the bills, no point holding onto money in my purse either or it will just 'disappear'. So emptied it yesterday and another £8.70 to go in the pot.
I've also been thinking, this thread has been a massive motivation to everyone, I thought it would be a fantastic idea to see a running total of how much everyone has paid that wouldnt have otherwise been paid without emily starting this so am off to do another post, I hope thats ok all????DFW 228 LONG H 68

Morning all
Felt quite dispondant that I'd not have anything to over pay with today as no transactions were due in or out of the account that weren't accounted for......just checked the bank tho and there's a credit of £1.90 from the overpayment of my final loan payment last week!! :j You've no idea how happy it made me to be able to pay that over to the CC!
Total paid off so far £27.42 (not including the small change jar which I'm not counting till next week)
Edited to add: Just found another £1.86 in the savings account that I'd not checked for ages...
Total now - £29.28"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

I hope everyone is well...
My little bro needed to borrow some money so I had to take out £250.00 on my credit card in cash for him and I got charged £6.25 handling fee, which took me up to:
£745.25
I made my £2.00 per day payments all week and now my total today is:
£731.25 (this includes covering the weekend).
Keep it up everyone!!!0 -

Hi All
I am now up to £5.50 on this challenge and I have arranged for my next lot of payments – which will actually go out of my account on Sunday. Weird! In addition to the payments to the Egg and Tesco cards, I have also arranged for additional small payments to go to most of my other credit cards – paying off the pence so there are only pounds in the current balance. I have added a pound or two to some of the balances as well. Not a lot, but it makes me feel good.
Given this, I think my aim for this challenge should be amended – rather than specific credit cards, I think I should just say ‘credit cards’. As to which ones these are every day – I think I will just see my mood leads me!PigginSkint's debt free diary

Right, my Barclaycard stands at £405.59, but I am waiting for £7 to go on there and I have £13 in my pot after adding another £2 today. So it really stands at £385.59.
Would like to get to below £300 but the end of the month.
