£5 towards paying off DS and £1.70 to evil loan - this rounded up the £1.30 payment i made the other day :D

    What a great thread!

I've been trawling the forums slowly working my way up to my 'for real' LBM which lit up at the weekend. I'll post a thread later in the DFW forum now that I've seen the light and made the decision to deal with my debt and finances.

In the meantime, I read this thread and I realised what a brilliant idea this is. I had £3.55 sitting in my bank account so I've nipped away from the forum and transferred it online to my smallest credit card debt - done deal. In the scheme of things it's barely a dent, but it's a positive start! Thank you!

Well rounded down my bank account so thats £2.40 for me today.

need to try harder on the NSD days though, thought I would have one yesterday and today but didnt quite work out that way although I am keeping a spending diary starting yesterday and I think I will be amazed when I see what I am spending on day to day trivial things.

  • This is great!

I've been winding up to joining the 'live on 4k challenge' for next year, so i need to get used to not spending extra pennies. The first thing to go is capital one, which i've been paying nearly £20 a month to for over a year, and it still hasn't come down any (over-limit charge every month  ). It's currently 217.33, but that'll soon go (with a bit of luck!!)

I'll start after i'm paid next week, by saving the pennies, then paying it in on saturdays.

Anyway, HI!!, and thanks for the thread!
Oh for Goodness' Sake!! Here we go again :(
Total debt £4,839.51 (Still adding it up though :( )
    Now : £4, 759.81
  • Morning all, and a big hello to all the Newbies :j

Off to Morrisons today as for one day only they are offering 15% staff discount instead of the ususal 10%, so although I usually go on Fridays I have bought it forward. If I have any change I will put it towards my PaD.

£4.00 to Capital 1 (and lowered the credit limit to £1475 :j )and £1.50 to Next.

Have a great day everyone - I know I will because I have an eclair waiting in the fridge which I am going to treat myself to this afternoon :D:D:D
    Moving on up :o SPC #382 ~ £40 banked

  • £6.52 to HFC today.
Also went to the delightful Morrisons (no offence frasersmum but I can't stand the place, think it's all so cluttered at the end of each aisle, trolley jamm and the like, staff always look so p'd off when trying to push the cages of produce through the throngs!) for the week 2 offer of the £20 voucher thing.
