  • £1 today into my mortgage bag, so thats £2 extra to pay at end of the month, if I keep going I could pay an extra £30 a month off which means I can pay the exta payments off in about 10 months rather than 12.

I forgot I found 6p whilst sorting some paperwork so that has gone in the pot.

Also found £10 by the sofa but knew DSS had lost/mislaid it so have given it to him, although he thinks I am now wonderful as he does not realised that it was his in the first place and thinks he owes me £10 if the orignal turns up,. Cruel, heatless stepmother that I am :rotfl:

Travelodge £9 rooms go on sale at 9pm tonight - that might get you a cheap place to stay in/around Cardiff.

Just checked and there are about 4 travelodges in and around Cardiff. Currently they are from £29 per room but it would be worth logging on tonight and seeing if you can bag a cheaper one.
