    Oh me again!

Realised that i have to pay my bed off £328.99 fully before 29 dec or it doubles in price... so just made a payment of £28.99 from that ..... and they charge a £3 debit card charge!

Best concentrate my daily payments on this i think then clear it up with my xmas wage!

Morning all, having one of those days today - just received my new statement with £60 of interest added on. Feels like one step forward and two giant steps back

But on the plus side i worked out that at least my minimum payment is paying off some balance whilst my extra daily payments are covering the interest costs.

Just wish i had a better credit rating then i could get a balance transfer!!!

Hope everyone has a good day

    xx

  • Flower08 - Im the same, got My Next statement today and there is a £20 service charge, which eats into my overpayments, however chipping away is better than nothing at all - two months ago I was making the minimum payment and then using the credit to buy more stuff.

Now I have £167 in available credit, and they have started bombarding me with junk mail!

Busy this morning with finances as pay cheque has now cleared I have paid off DH Virgin CC:j:j so all his cards are 0% and under control. At least I hope so trouble is he now gets to spend on mine but at least I can keep an eye on it and pay it off each month.

Now to deal with mine I have paid a chunk off my M & S card and it gets there in 2 hours:j I do like this faster pay thingy Virgin takes 3 days:mad:

The other wonderful thing is that I have transferred some money to 2 savings accounts never done that before it is not really savings as it is money to last to the next pay days in 3 months(small one) and 6 months(big one) and will be gradually transferred back into the current a/c as needs must.

Not counting any of this as my PAD as it is part of my snowballing so payment of £15.21 made to HSBC CC today. I have updated my PAD sig but the CC I will leave until the end of the month when all the statements come in looking forward to that and the difference it makes to my snowball DFD currently Feb 2014 but I am determined to drag it back to May 2010.

DS got an offer from Cardiff University today so we are really pleased:T so now have to go to Cardiff on 23/24 Nov any ideas for a cheap place to stay?

    Have a great day

Just remember that for the payment to hit the bed people for the 29th, you will need to pay ideally by the 19th latest.

Morning everyone, got paid today but it hasnt made the dent i'd hoped for to my o/d. Oh well OH gets paid today so that'll help. Thankfully most of my bills have been paid for the month, only got one big one left to pay - my catalogue! Found out why my min payments are so high too n i'm not happy. I was late making a payment by 2 days 18 months ago, even worse i had rang them to explain i'd just had a baby and my mat pay hadnt gone into my account and they seemed fine - apparently not tho:mad: . The lady i spoke to said she couldnt understand why it was still affecting my min payment but if i was unable to make my min payments they'd have to freeze my account! Whats all that about:confused: . Cant afford to have my account frozen incase it affects my credit rating, plus they'll start charging me interest (my acc is currently int free over 52wks) so it looks like i'm just gonna have to put up with paying hurrendously high min payments. At least it'll get paid quicker:rolleyes: .
    sorry for the rant:o
On a better note i'll be able to pay an extra £40 towards my cc in a few days.

WOW - BofE rate cut 1.5%.....

This should really help me clearing off my debs - im on a tracker until the end of next year. This cut and the last rate cut reduces my mortgage by £100.00 per month!

£100.00 to go towards debts - perfect!
