Not having a good Day - Niamh's Birth Certificate finally arrived and they have spelt her middle name 'Grave' rather than Grace. Have had to send it back, and as its thier mistake they will change it - but I was really upset at the time, was thinking she might be stuck with it!
Oh frasersmum thats awful! Why would they think she was called Grave? The bloody idiots!I'm also going to try to pay my £2 coins into the bank. I've decided to add them to my e-savings. Over Christmas i want to be sure there is money available if hubby isn't working for longer than we expect. Self employment can be very unpredictable.
Nearly Friday :j
Where are you getting your £2 coins from?!?!
I never get given ANY! Literally!
We must have a shortage round here! :rotfl:
Is it me, or do you like having £2 coins in your purse? Theres something special about them, isnt there? Or is it just me?
Anyone?
Just me then.

Being part of this thread is like having something on my shoulder saying 'do you really need that, do you really, really need that?'. I was walking round my local tesco (I went in for a loaf of bread) and I soon had a full basket. This little voice was saying 'you don't need it all, you don't need it all'. I put it all back and went to the bank and paid £7.50 in instead! So, £7.50 for today!! xx0

Hi Everyone
Can I join in too. I have spent last evening and this morning reading all the posts phew what a marathon:D but well worth it.
You will see from my sig that I have (including DH) a huge CC debt spread over 9 cards. I did the snowballing calculation last weekend and that said May 2011 to clear but would like to clear it by May 2010 and then start on the mortgage so I am in for the long haul. PAD will help me do this also as DH and I are only paid every 3 months (that's how I get into this mess in the first place) I am going to pay my extra snowballing money up front and put my minimum monthly payments in a savings account to transfer over as needed so that will help. Also hope to transfer more to 0% and LOB cards to reduce interest.
Have decided to PAD against HSBC credit card as I bank with them the payment will register for interest purposes instantly will update sig once a month once CC statements all in. Going to round off Current A/C. First payment today £11.97 (£1.97 seemed too small for a starting payment:rotfl:)
The good news is End Oct is a payday:j
BTW Thanks to Emily for starting this.:A
Love to all
Mandy xxxx

I know what you all mean about being unmotivated - Its so easy for me to think 'Sod it let me buy......', but then I think about all my other PAD peeps and you keep me motivated. I also look at my snowball and that keeps me motivated too - its a great tool! !
Totally agree about the snowball to keep you motivated. I always look at the last month and think if i keep doing my PAD this will get lower and eventually I'll reduce by DFD by another month.
Thx to HOPEFUL1, PIPPO & L - M for your comments.
Sorry GREENBYNATURE to hear that your feeling fed up today. Sending you some of my positive vibes across..
Welcome DOUBLE TROUBLE
My thoughts this morning is no body else is going to do this for me and if I have a better attitude and a more positive approach to my debts it will help me to clear than quicker than if I'm negative & down! Does that make any sense?? I also found an early night helped ( 9pm) as doesn't help matters when your feeling tired!
Don't get me wrong, I know that whilst I have these debts I will continue to have my "off days" but as long as I can pick myself up and carry on , I'll get there...LBM -TODAY!:D 17th Sept. 08.
