Sazzledazzle - our current puppy is the first one we've crate trained and it's fab. She loves it and it means we've not had to many things eaten by her!!! Hope you find some cash! xx

    Hi
Wow everyone is doing really well. Its very inspiring.

I made the call to NatWest to see about overpayments on the mortgage. There are other things to chip away at too but now the bank rate has come down I was thinking that the (little) bit that saves could go as a tiny overpayment rather as its already budgeted for the house anyway.

Back to the point. I finally made it into the bank (DS2 came down with chicken pox so couldn't go earlier) and found someone to answer my questions tho to be honest she didn't know much. This is a trial and they are in 10 banks across the country where typically lots of people and shops come in to pay large sums in coins. Sadly she didn't have a list of where they were. If the trial is successful ie. lots of people use them, they will roll them out to more branches in a phased plan.

Currently it cannot be used for putting the money onto credit cards but it will have that facility after the trial period which she thought was about 6 months.

So I guess its a case of wait and see if you get one. Sorry not to have better news.

  • Not having a good Day - Niamh's Birth Certificate finally arrived and they have spelt her middle name 'Grave' rather than Grace. Have had to send it back, and as its thier mistake they will change it - but I was really upset at the time, was thinking she might be stuck with it! :(

Good god!! Do they not check these things???

  • Hi everybody, hope you are all ok. Just 38p from me today, have kept £1.49 back from my £3.50 spending money this week for cheap eggs! And by spending money I mean for everything :o , but I'm really keen to get rid of my debts, or at least get Nationwide and Tesco to below £1,000, then I will relax more.:p
