Hello,
im a bit confused ive been making extra payments on my hsbc cc all before my next payment date i payed.....£59.93 extra but my interest charged was still exactly the same!? how does that work, i thought it would be less.
Hi - i am also with HSBC and i think we might have been confusing them with our extra payments! On a few occasions now they have cedited my account with small bits of interest that they have over charged me with after my daily payments. It may be that they credit yours with some at the end of the month aswell
I hope that makes some sense!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
£5.15 yesterday and £5.16 today...to Egg!
Keep going all!0 -
Oh no, I just got home tonight to find my statement for Capital One. I thought I had paid it all off (I shifted the balance to a 0% card). There is still £24 outstanding - so I'm going to start my payment a day to Capital One and then clear it at the end of the month. The Egg card will just have to wait! So my siggy should really say 5 credit cards to pay off, but I'm going to cheat and leave it as it is.Debt free and Keeping on Track0

Morning all
Paid my usual £1.17 to Vanquis. Can't believe I have paid off over £100 since we started mainly just by making small payments. This is so cool
Have a nice day everyone
