As a reputable ebay powerseller I would like to thank you guys for what u did to the laptop seller. It really annoys me when people put links on ebay for sale.
And the way you handled the auction removal had better results than you could imagine. If ebay pulls an auction, after you report it, they refund the sellers listing fee, however if somebody bids on it and pushes the bids through the ceiling then the seller doesn't get his/her listing fee back and in this case its atleast £50 lol. Glad that you warned all the underbidders to because the other way he could have scammed the underbidders was with second chance. But they are wise thanks to your prompt actions.
Well done and keep up the good work.

whats sad is that it had to be dealt with that way, as Ebay did not respond quickly enough to the numerous requests to get it pulledAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -

And to top it all I got a slap from Ebay within 10 min's for posting a link to the auction in their forum.
They did not waste much time in dealling with me (yesterday lunchtime) but were not bothered with the content of my thread >:(
Good job guys, I too have had loads of thanks from the people I warned..0 -

It is with great regret that I wish to inform you of the sudden loss of Pippa385 :-[ Due to the fact that I can't remember the password or the security questions (hey I was in rush!), it would appear that Pippa has gone to the great auction house in the sky.
Still, tune in next time when she *may* just get resurrected under a new guise ;D ;D0 -
someone mentioned a webbased email provider thats allows ebay registration ( without c/c) - fancy posting or PM the info
