  • Sounds good, but as it's an auction the final selling price could be substantialy higher. So not a bargain till you've won it.

Ebuyer sell cheap laptops (£550 mark).

The seller hasn't sold anything since May and now he's got 20 laptops on a one day auction. Personally I'd be very wary.

If you decide to bid do not pay by bank transfer or Western Union - stick to Paypal funded by a credit card so you have some recourse if something goes wrong.

I have reported the auction to ebay but it's unlikely it will get pulled in time as it's got less than 7 hours to run.

I'm in the process of sending a message to them all.
  • Got down to scartlady and reached the max no of emails I can send in a day.

Can someone pick up from her and send them a note along the lines of:

"Hi, I notice you're bidding on a laptop. I've nothing to do with the sale, but as a regular ebayer cannot sit back and see innocent people scammed. Have you seen the note at the bottom of the listing: "THE INFO THAT IS FOR SALE WILL GIVE YOU ACCESS TO A SITE WHERE YOU CAN OBTAIN THE LAPTOP. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN." I suggest you attempt to withdraw your bids and inform Bay immediately. Certainly, do not pay for this item!

It's ok I've done it from a new account.

    Is anyone here 'another_link_scam_no_item'?

    If so, well done you.
