    I would take over if I could, but for some reason I can't connect to ebay from this laptop - if I was at my office I could :(

    I have reported the auction to ebay but it's unlikely it will get pulled in time as it's got less than 7 hours to run.


    I reported via the normal system and the live help

    have copies of the ad , replies ( 24 hr) and livehelp transcript-

    would make interesting reading in a newspaper article !

    Got down to scartlady and reached the max no of emails I can send in a day.

    Can someone pick up from her and send them a note along the lines of:

    "Hi, I notice you're bidding on a laptop. I've nothing to do with the sale, but as a regular ebayer cannot sit back and see innocent people scammed. Have you seen the note at the bottom of the listing: "THE INFO THAT IS FOR SALE WILL GIVE YOU ACCESS TO A SITE WHERE YOU CAN OBTAIN THE LAPTOP. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN." I suggest you attempt to withdraw your bids and inform Bay immediately. Certainly, do not pay for this item!

    had already done the bidders with 2+ feedback ( especially the chaps with 110 / 5 feedback as seem most likely victims)
    copied to the (42)

    but hoped someone esle would do same, so it did not look just like me
