I was there last night, and the freezerburn on the meat in the end freezer cabinet on your left was awful! It looked like it was encased in snow.

yes exactly like u say I looked at the meat and the ice crystals on them was loads... so thats what u call it..freezerburn... learn somthing new!!

Frozen 2kg stuffed and butter basted turkey crown joint with apricot & cranberry stuffing, decorated with maple cured streaky bacon reduced to £6.75 from £13.50. Best before date July 2009.

I would go for the frozen large stuffed pork joints with crackling, down to £4.75 from £9.50. Bung in the oven for 3 hours and lovely - not quite sure how I would feed 8 to 10 people out of it mind - did 5 hungry people and a few rolls later! Managed to pick up another couple today and some turkey breast joints for £3 as well
Got myself some of the smoke bags for a penny each (good for easy chicken and veg, bung it all in at once) - didnt have any ordinary foil bags unfortunately, goose fat for my roasties down to 74p from about £2 and 4 large jars of cranberry sauce were £1.39 down to 34p, in date till april 2010, and we have cranberry most sundays with our chicken so it wont last till then
I got my chocolate trifle but it was 68p in my local - still half the price of Lidls

As already posted - the 4 man tent was £7.50 in store earlier tonight but the 2 man tent was £2.12 - if i hadnt already bought one last year I think I might just have splashed out on this. Perfect for the kids in the garden in the summer as it would have to be some kind of special to get me in a tent at any time!
