I've been to 2 "Extras" and found no trace of them, although I'm not 100% sure exactly what I'm looking for or even where (especially since I've not even seen the the Toastabags)

I found them in the Foil, Clingfilm etc aisle in a couple of local stores, but another one didn't have them at all (and no space for them) so they are not stocked in all stores

There was more stock available in the Extra than in the smaller stores. HTH

I found loads of Bacofoil bags in the reduced section priced 99p and still went through at 1p.

Half Leg of Lamb - these are now scanning @ £3.75.

Good thing I stocked up on these last week @ £1.87 !!!:j

Sorry to sound a bit thick but how do you scan them without going to the checkout every time please.

Most stores have at least one scanner somewhere among the aisles, they are never easy to spot until you know what you are looking for - ask at the cust service desk if they have one and where its located.

Mine doesn't - after neither worked for over 2 years they removed them.

Thank you to the OP for the heads up on the Bacofoil packs. I managed to get a couple today and I'm going to 'doctor' them into a big bag for my turkey, much cheaper than a buying actual turkey wrap!

I was @ the checkout when I found out the price change to £3.75, all of the price checkers in my local stores have now been removed or have not worked for some time (which is kinda frustrating!!!):mad:

Went to buy another few Leg Chops today (in a different Tesco to yesterday) and was amazed to find they were £1.99 - so they went back in the freezer cabinet.

Looks like they've been re-priced overnight along with the £1.87 to £3.75 leg joint.

Still, I managed to get a dozen packs of 1p Baco foil bags (SEL = "Discontinued" £1.99) but couldn't find the Cookaliners anywhere.
