And at Musselburgh. VEry low key SEL. I almost missed it...probably would have if I'd not been looking.

Watch the ingredients though. They're only 85% pork and don't say what cut of pork - probably cheap belly, where quality sausages will use something like shoulder. And why do they contain rice? That is exactly traditional!

Bought a few packets, they were Ok for the slow cooker in a sauce if you skimmed the fat off (brown first). Did them in the oven on their own and they were not very nice. (fatty taste).

Finally managed to find some of the lamb :j
In fact they had loads of them, so I took quite a few, but still plenty left.
Also spotted a lonely foil "smoking bag" with sel for 50p, but went thru at 1p
I got the salt and pepper mills - which work out FREE

I managed to find the strawberry frozen yoghurt last week.... UGH !!
So glad I only bought one.
Kids hated it too, so it will go in the bin to make room for the lamb:rolleyes:

I had seen some advert somewhere for the 50p milk, so went looking. But they also had an end of aisle display in my local.
At the massive T I went to tonight to get the salt & pepper, and lamb, I didn't see any signs up

Impossible to find a working price scanner, which makes some of these 'bargains' a bit of a gamble - when I found the 8 pack of pancakes this week they were full price.
Didn't bother even looking in store I went to tonight when I realised no price scanner

    Many thanks again folks:T

Apparently it is on offer from Fri til Sun 7th. My friend texted me about it earlier. There are several great deals, the best of which seems to be the milk:-

    Wiseman 2 litre milk - 50p
    Tesco value eggs x 6 - 50p
Anchor free range butter - 50p
Tesco medium white bread - 50P

Some stores are limiting to 4 deals per customer.

I am going to hotfoot it down to my local later to try and get the milk and butter

Not a mega reduction but an odd one from HDUK:

    Colman's Mustard (4 varieties) £1.09/1.19 each or 2 for £1 @ Tesco

Yep, one of those deals where it's cheaper to buy two than one. Don't know if anyone actually need that many mustard, but if it's a deal..

    Colman's Mild English Mustard 155ml £1.09 each or 2 for £1
    Colman's Dijon Mustard 150ml £1.19 each or 2 for £1
    Colman's Sweet Hot Honey Mustard 155ml £1.19 each or 2 for £1
Colman's Hot Chili Wholegrain Mustard 155ml £1.19 each or 2 for £1 (for reasons unknown not online)

They also had Colman's Wholegrain Mustard 150ml for £0.95 each or 2 for £1 - if you feel like splurging a bit.

    Deal expires 16 Dec 08.
