    Just got back from tesco, heres all the reduced stuff i got:
    Avocados 8p each :rolleyes:, Curries 30p down from £2, Big fresh pizza 25p down from £1.99, MASSIVE bag of pick and mix bread rolls 50p, fresh sasuages 30p, organic brocolli 18p, some fancy indian meals down to 80p from about £3......

    Well chuffed with my finds, will defo be going food shopping at this time again! :beer:

    Thanks for posting your bargains. Did you find these in the reduced section in the fridges? Also do they not all have an expiry date of today. I am never sure about buying things with an expiry date of the same day you buy them.
    Are these ok to put in the freezer?

    yer put them in the freezer thyre fine ive had donuts that i brought last week and thyre fine to sell by dates are different to use by dates rember that the stores only sell them because the sell by date has come sometimes the use by dtae is several days later

    Thanks for clarifying this for me. So they key is to look for items that say sell by then rather than use by.

    my local Tescos has some Ribena in at £1.30 a big bottle and I bought some strawberry flavored ribena as well.I start stocking up on orange juices and cordials at this time as my grandchildren will be breaking up from school and they go through gallons of the stuff over the 6 week holidays what with picnics and trips to the park.
