You need to count the number of leaves that exist on a single "leaf branch" that grows out of the main stem(s).
The cultivated stock generally (always/almost always) has only 5 leaves.
The WILD Rootstock will send out suckers from below soil level, or at least below the graft point, and these "wild rose" stems produce "leaf shoots" with 7 leaves.
Happy counting
Nothing to do with the 99p shop, apart from that was where I bought the rose plant from.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but 99p stores and poundland both seem to be doing Belkin USB cables, I've picked up some USB 3 ones in the last couple of weeks (I've got loads of USB2 cables but had no spare USB3's).0

Couldn't see this mentioned yet, but I picked up a tub of 'Schwarzkopf BONAWELL Repair Formula Hot Oil Treatment' in a white tub, like a deep conditioning treatment. So impressed with this! Deffo worth a try!0

I didn't see the GF cookies but did buy a huge pack of mint "dunkable" chocolate biscuits, no complaints
Also found a few other goodies worth having:
- mini Babybels (a net of six)
- some Glade scented candles ("Peppermint Crush") which I'm burning atm and smells just like a Murraymint
- packs of 20 "Protect" tampons, apparently they are Asda's own brand. Bought them but was a bit annoyed that I'd also just bought some Tampax at full price all of 10 minutes beforehand! Would never have thought of actively looking for these in The 99p Shop!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

We visited our branch yesterday, and couldn't resist a couple of packs of J2O Apple and Mango (4 x 275ml bottles). Lovely when diluted down (I find them a bit too sweet) with ice cold still or sparkling water.
Also look out for the Palmolive Lavender and Camomile liquid soap. We last bought this in France many years ago (for about 3 Euros!!!) and have not seen it in any UK supermarket. You only need to use a tiny bit on your hands (or face), and it cleans well, and makes your hands smell like Provence.0 -
