also a cat draught excluder made from socks too:D
Sparkleychel has made one ^^
I am making a dog one out of a single knee high sock after xmas. Laying the sock out how it comes (not how it would be on your foot) cut the foot part in half or just over depending on how big you want the head to be. Turn inside out and lay again.Sew the foot up, I will be doing a slightly curved stitch. Turn right side out. Stuff the whole thing and sew up the 'bum' end. Use the left over foot part to make tail and ears. You could also use the other knee high sock to make legs and arms if you wanted to. This is the tutorial I use for my sock dogs, just adapt it a little.

Has anyone made monkeys using trainer/sports type socks. I need to make two ballerina monkeys for my niece, I've got 3 pairs of pink socks and 2 pairs of purple (they were too cheap to look for full length socks, so happy to use all of them in just two monkeys but was wondering anyone can recommend a way of assembling parts from trainer socks?Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass,it's about learning to dance in the rain.0

My husband and I just finished our first ever sock monkey! Took about 3 and a half hours! Desperate to share pics on facebook but going to be a Christmas gift and don't want the recipient seeing, so I'll share with you! Here he is!0

He is lovely. Well done0 -
Sophief; You've done a good job on your monkey. I like the pattern of the socks. I think the recipient will be delighted with her/him.0
