Nuttybabe sounds like you have your work cut out for you wow good luck with your course I am a qualified NNEB and ALS finished ta level 2 training and ou found it tricky with young children but so worth it in the end xx what areyou making for your craft fair is it just monkeys or other bits too xx
You're a teaching assistant? I wanted to do that but since doing the childcare course (which we were told may help us get a teaching assistant job) i actually want to work with younger children as i love volunteering in nursery.
I think because I am trying to do stuff for craft fair and the course and everything else i do its just a bit much. After the next few weeks I should be ok although they do seem to be loading me up with work but it means i get it finished quicker (so hopefully can get a job and do the level 3 - then I really wont have any time!!! :rotfl:)
I have sock monkeys (small and large), sock rabbits, sock cats, sock pigs and 1 sock dragon at the moment. I am trying to make a few more themed monkeys like fairys and I want to make more cats and more rabbits. Not sure what will sell as i havent done one before but with what is left i will take down for my mum to sell at her craft fairs. She does alot of them.
Here's my dragon. My sister asked for a shrek dragon and i only have 1 pair of red sparkly socks so this one was the try out. i also have the green eyes now so just need time to do her as well!!0 -
Have mastered the monkeys now, but wondered if anyone has a link to a good tutorial for the bunnies?? Was planning to make them for my children for easter.
Thanks!0 -
