    they are brilliant.

sock dogs are easy to do. it did take me a while to get my head round them (must of been a blonde moment!!!:P) these are the instructions i used https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2063049

i normally get the sewing machine bit done for a few monkeys then i will make them one at a time and not start on another until that one is finished.

quicker for me than sock monkeys. dont know why. probably because i dont have to put clothes on them! the one i am making is the same as the brown one with starts on this post http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=30916709&postcount=32 i think the sock looked so cute as a dog when i found another pair the i decided to make another one.

Ooh they are cute. I suppose once you suss out the pattern (as with anything) it gets quicker. Like the litte collar that's a nice touch.

ooooh I read loads of this thread last night and it inspired me to give sock monkeys a try!

Ive just started my first one using an old pair of socks (thought that was the best thing to do because my first few tries will prob be messy!!) Im hand sowing them because I dont have a machine.

I was wondering if anybody had done any football themed ones? Ive got loads of football mad men in my family and was thinking of making them all one if the colors of the teams they support - eg red/white for manchester united. was going to make them and put them away for xmas. anybody got any pics of football ones.

thanks for the help in advanced!

I made these guys for the World Cup. Shame we went out so early as I might have sold more!

i just do hats and scarfs in the team colours and have used socks with footballs as the pattern. I would have done an england one if we had stayed in longer. There are some football ones on my blog if you want to check them out.
