hi, been thinking of making my boys a sock monkey each for xmas. I love the sgt one - Where did you buy the socks? They'd be perfect for my boys as my OH is in the army. Might also make a pink one for my friend to throw around when she gets frustrated with her children!!

cuddles - they are so cute! i really am going to have to trying knitting hats like that again. but mine never look like that. i do the knit 2, purl 2 but they just dont look like that!!!

dh got those socks for me off ebay and he wont tell me how much they were so i am guessing quite alot!!! BUT some wilkinsons have them (not mine!) and I did find some camoflage kids socks in tesco the other day. i think it was a pack of 4 or 5, 2 were camoflage and the others stripy, i think!!!

BTW - if anyone sees socks like the ones I used in #2307 ^^^ please could you get me some? Boys aged 12 -3 if possible. They were in packs of 4. Thank you :-)

So many people asked me to make them monkeys, I've had a marathon session.
All done apart from mouths and nostrils, The Dirty Dozen...

they look great cuddles. i have some of those socks ready and waiting to become monkeys!!! except the pink and black one that will make a rather nice pink zebra!!!

Wow! Cuddles you have been busy! I have a couple of pairs of rainbow striped socks waiting to be made into monkeys and I keep putting it off, and you have made 12 !!
They are fabulous!
