I phoned up sainsbury's about a pepperoni pizza I bought last week. The two children I look after usually eat it but wouldn't this time so I tasted it and it was really very hot, it says medium on the fornt but this was definately HOT and I like spicy food. The poor kids were sat there gulping down milk!
They refunded 439 nectar points onto my nectar card, not sure if that's a good deal but seeing as I didn't actually pay for the pizza (their mum did) I was quids in
(oh and I ate the rest of the pizza too :rotfl: )Addicted to MSE, I can't resist a bargain

Will have to wait and see if they respond!
Will be interested to hear if you have a reply from Aunt Bessies. I complained about one of their pies a couple of weeks ago but haven't had any reply - suppose I should have dug the packing out of the recycling to give them the bar code but didn't think at the time.0 -
I made an order over the phone with Selfridges, and when I called back to see if it had been sent, had an awful time with the advisors there. I sent an email to complain and the manager called me today to apologise and took all the details of the people I had spoken to. He is also refunding the £10 delivery charge for the item I ordered (as the girl hadn't made me aware of it at the time of ordering)
Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.0 -

I was going to put this in the email/letter thread but thought it deserved it's own. I was emailing quite a few companies to try and get free samples and the first one to send me any was Nivea http://www.nivea.co.uk/home I got home today to receive a package of 28 samples including 2 travel size bottles of sun tan lotion. Not bad for just sending them a message in the Contact Us section asking for samples. They only took a week as well!
Some of the samples are doubled and tripled but it's still pretty decent
