Or if you have a genuine complaint they send out coupons but whats the point if the supermarket refuses them. I got sent £20 from Gillette (proctor and gamble) and ASDA wouldnt take them but I spent £12 on Gillette couldnt buy that amount as would be over-run! Dont know what to do with the darn voucher now. lol

I had a bit of a rotten run after christmas, with a House of Fraser item not being included in my package (and me having to chase them up to find out why not). Apparently they were out of stock and would give me a refund or credit note - however this was only after I asked question after question and sent email after email. I wrote a very disappointed email regarding their lack of customer service and how I wouldn't be using their service again and was told that they were very sorry and I would get free delivery next time I ordered online ... hmm, good to see they were listening!!!
My other item was a gorgeous MAC eyeshadow compact that the delivery order status had as already having been delivered, but I had not received either the item or a notice of delivery from the post office.
Again, I was told that the item was out of stock and offered a refund or delivery of other items up to the value of the ordered item. I requested the refund but 3 weeks later still hadn't received it. I find it really hard to chase up these things as not allowed to make personal calls at work and don't have a landline, so was having to go through email. I finally got hold of a very nice customer service lady who said she would organise the refund to come through asap and apologised for all the delays. I noted in my email that although I was very disappointed in how my order had been handled I really love MAC products and could they give me a few samples? She responded that they didn't have samples, but she would send me a apology gift in the mail - it turned out to be the eyeshadow compact I had ordered but with different coloured eyeshadows! Fantastic apology gift, worth at least £30!Couch to 5K Running 2009/2010/2011
