I sent a few companies complements last night and heard back from Elemis this morning. The lady was very nice, gave me a quick consultation and said she will be sending out products for me soon. Never knew you could do this >.<Started comping 19/8/2011
Hoping for some nice wins :j

Could somebody actually post what they send to these companies or PM me so I have a rough idea please?
Thanks x
I used to compliment like 'I really love [Insert product here], I buy it all the time blah blah' and they'd just thank me.
Now I write 'I really love your products. Would you mind sending me some free samples of your new products for me to try before I buy?'
Most say they don't have any, but about 10 so far have replied and asked for my address0 -

Gilchrist and Soames just sent me a parcel via a courier! A tiny box, I open it and it's full of box filler and then I find two tiny samples in the middle
well worth emailing.

Just got an email from L'Occitane as well asking for my address! Woot woot. For the skincare ones I'm telling them I have sensitive skin and would like to try some of their products before I commit to buying the larger ones as I don't know how my skin would react.Started comping 19/8/2011

Be careful, though. One company told me to contact my GP when I said I had sensitive skin and wanted to try their products to see if it helped0 -

I do have sensitive skin. Eczema as well, so if they did want to speak to my GP they could.
There are very few products I can use without irritating my skin.Started comping 19/8/2011

Go to your GP, and don't expect their products to help you, is what I meantit's probably so they don't have to give samples, better than saying 'no, sorry'

I have pretty sensitive skin and have yet to find many products that won't drive it crazy,
Today I have a lotion sample from Green People and am expecting some more bits over the next few days. Am expecting the playtent I won in a comp too.0 -
