    Hi there

I wrote a letter to them to complain about them running late with start times and not cleaning between screenings and taking 30 mins to process out tickets on their new tills. It took about a month but they replied with some free tickets and food vouchers. I'd give them a chase saying you're 'disappointed that they don't value your custom enough to reply immediately' etc.

A complained to Muller the once that my Mullerpud had got no 'pud' in it (it was just custard)

    Got £5 voucher for Muller.

I had puds for months :rotfl:

Also complained to Veet after one of their leg strips left an angry mark on my leg - got £50 :D (I had to send photos of said leg)

I have complined twice about chocolate and got cracking responses.

    1. Cadburys fruit and nut had some kind of wheat/twig in it. sent it with a letter and got £30 vouchers which was nice. the corner shop accepted them on anything also, not just cadburys, which was nice!

    2. nestle did some giant smarties a few years ago (about the size of minstrels) but there was some 'stuff' in the pack also. quite hard, i think it was what the shell is made out of.
i got sent a HUUGE box of nestle chocs, lasted me ages. was waiting when i came of holiday. I remember this as my hamster had also dies whilst i was away.....but the choc made up for it!
  • My Daughter emailed Staedler with a complaint but more of a compliment (she's too soft!)
suggesting to them a slight improvement on their Fineliner Pens range. She credited them for adding colour and a higher overall mark for her coursework, but also added they could be proved by making them more sturdy when pressure was applied to the tip, as the nib usually closes in and got a reply within a few days from a representative, Natalie Lewis I think. Anyway, they asked her to send them for testing, but she'd already bought a new pack and thrown the old ones away, considering how much they cost her the reply was very nice and polite but since she mentioned that she couldn't send them for testing, she hasn't got a reply since!
    Oh well never mind........

Just out of interest, when writing emails to companies do you automatically include your postal address in the hope that you get something sent automatically, or does this seem a bit like your tanking the receipt of vouchers for granted?

I usually include my postal address because it just saves time... you could just put it at the top like you would with a letter.

However, I know there's others on here who wait until they are asked for it. ;)
