Cheap Airport Parking: Stansted Airport hints, tips and local parking

looking for a good pub or small hotel with 8 days parking near Stansted for 18 October, any recommendations:D

yes you leave the keys but noones cars were mucked about with (ther were 4 groups on way back)

You do have to leave your keys, but no problems with our car and it hadn't moved

Just arrived back to pick up car, (classic car - was in good
condition). Taxi driver the same guy who parked up the car and took
us to airport. Going to the airport he had told us how he was really
keen on old rally cars, knew all the history of the model etc., had
commented how it was in good condition. On return not so friendly,
very busy on mobile phone. Then when we arrived to the car, we
noticed an obvious large dent in front driver side wing,(couldn't miss
it). When challenged he became quite nasty, said it was there before
and said if we really thought he had done it we could sue him. We left
saying we were not going to argue further about it as he was becoming
increasingly unpleasant. On exiting the car park we stopped at the
Chequers Hotel/Pub to complain, they said it was nothing to do with
them it was a separate business.
Controls had been moved on the car and the boot left unlocked, it
would appear to us that the car had been taken out. Obviously not a
service to recommend!

I'm planning to park offstreet at Stansted Mountfitchet for a five days and traveling to the airport. I've seen several posts of people doing this. Ive also seen reports of the council starting to limit offstreet parking. Has anyone done this recently and if so where is the best place to park?

Just used Arrival Airport Parking and was very very impressed, great value for money and great service. Highly recommend.

Used Arival recently and they are fantastic. We had an early Sunday flight so we met them at 3AM to park. Quick and easy transfer to the Airport.
when we got back and phoned them they picked us up in 10 minutes, again I cannot fault the service, very cheerful and friendly with our kids and also professional.
Fantastic value for money, would reccommend with confidence as our car was well looked after, safe and secure.
