Go through MATALAN website for 15% off Birmingham NCP/ AHP carparks. I did this last year and will do the same this year

Didn't know you could get savings using a Matalan Card!
Just booked a week short / medium stay for £56.10, saving £9.90 using Matalan rewards - cheapest I've found using all search engines.
    Thank you!!
  • I would urge anybody thinking about using the APH parking facility at Hams Hall near Birmingham airport to consider all other options first. Price is very good (under £19 for 5-days), but is no guarantee that your car will be driven carefully when moved. When we returned from 5-days in France, the clutch on my car was totally shot. The mileage had not increased and being an old car a replacement clutch was probably imminent, but it was fine when I left it with APH - bit of a coincidence for it to fail on my very first touch of the pedal! I suspect that someone had seriously abused the car and finished the clutch off. This caused great distress for my young daughters when we had to rely on a breakdown service to return us and our car 60 miles to home at 3.00am.
APH obviously deny any wrong-doing and said they cannot be held responsible for a wear and tear item, which is reasonable, but the clutch was working perfectly when I left the car with them and would have been okay for our return journey. I certainly will not trust them again.
  • I've booked the premier inn at birmingham for sat 6th aug for €85 which includes parking for 15 days, bed and grab+go breakfast. Will I need to get a shuttle bus/taxi from there to the airport or is it walkable?
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

I used off-site parking at EMA for 36 hours in March, and paid £6.99. The same deal for end of sept is around £25! Is there any obvious reason for such a large jump?

Just booked a good deal at BHX. www.superbreak.com not a site I usually bother with as it is normally expensive.
Mystery 4* Hotel inc. 15 days parking for 3 adults £55 (and 8% cashback via quidco so £50.60) easily identified as Crowne Plaza prior to booking from their description. Same hotel deal if identified in prior to purchase £104.

Hi there, I am new to the forum and having a good look round I am hoping one of you nice people will be able to help me out with my query? We are going to a wedding in ireland on friday and are flying from birmingham airport.
To keep my parking costs down my idea would be to park at the NEC or birmingham international train station, £8 a day I think, at 5am on the friday morning as our flight is at 7am, catch the free air monorail into the airport at 5.15am. We return on next day (saturday) at 2.00pm. Is this possible? would i be charged for 2 days? Are the nec /station carparks open this early? Is the monorail free? Sorry to bombard you guys with so many questions just wondered if this was an option or is there a better way? thanks
