Front foglights in MOT

Wipers are not tested on vehicles with opening windscreens and vehicles with an alternative means of providing the driver with an adequate view (tanks spring to mind).
As most 151 jeeps have windscreens, are you sure it did not have a fold down windscreen and a tester who did know what he was doing?
I just researched the 151 jeep and I did find a few references to some without windscreens. I also found that the US Army have declared them to be unsafe for road use and as such have a mandatory destruction policy on all jeeps ending service, and this applies to all jeeps given in aid to other countries.
I'd be surprised if a car was allowed to have no windscreen.
Could be right, my mate's experience was about 15 years back, the jeep apparently had a screen originally, but as you know they were on a pivot and easily removed. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

Too true there are so many questions, I have another; My car is a van derived Berlingo, can I remove the back seats and still pass the MOT? The car portion of the rear seat belts remain in the sides at the back but the floor is flat as in the van version. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

I have been told that where a seat is removed the belts are not treated as belts.0 -

I have the feeling that if they had a fault whereby they came on with full beam lights, that would be an MOT fail?0
