yes, you keep your own number. i have also just founnd out that if you rent the line with BT is cost approximately £11. odd per month but if you transfer it to sky it costs only £10 per month so you have everything on one bill
and if you do go on to skytalk,(sky, broadband and sky talk) which isstill only going to cost you £22 or £32 with BT lines all calls to the sky call centres are free to sky talk customers but chargeable to non sky talk customers (sky used to be 0870, which was about 8p a minute for everybody, its nice that they are giving something back. i am quite enjoying your diary and cant help getting excited for you
can you imagine how you will feel when you pay your last £20 off your last
£20 debt. its euphoricmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
aww in that case il get jon to do that, its just jons work number is the house number he would be relutant to be doing something i have become quite a geek with this lol i was almost excited because i have a 99.00 on the end of bill thanx to paying a little a day hehe ...... its nice to stay positive for debt.. we decided instead of saving for wedding lump all teh cash on to credit cards pay them off and then in about 6 months look at a 0% balance transfer that gives 12 months on purchases to do the wedding i reckon we could potentially put 600 quid pm on debt if we work really hard ..... yaaaaay ..... the futures bright :P awww and thank you annie have you got a diary ?? i do like a good read i find it nice to see how others are doing at the end of the month il put a full tott up of debts eeek :P a big number obviously
xx

Great diary and good to hear you sounding so positive.
I've got to say that we're with Sky and pay £45 pm for a Sky TV package, top broadband and all inclusive calls inc line rental. Much cheaper than previosuly and very realiable. We kept the same number so the only change was the price reduction
Have you thought about keeping a spending diary. I've kept one for this year and its been fantastic. Its really shown us how we crept into debt (I know £52k of creeping). To my mind getting DF for us has been about understanding how we spend our money (spending diary) against what we can afford (budget). Using both of these things have been invaluable to getting our heads around why we were in debt and how we change that!

Hi Amy,
I joined last night and just discovered your diary. What a lovely read. It's great to see you so positive about things and enjoying getting rid of your debt. Very inspirational. Thanks for writing it all down.
You make me want to start one myself but I know I'd never keep it up so I hope you don't mind if I follow yours.
