Same here... mine was posted on the 19th and still iv not received anything although payment has been taken out!! will wait another few days then give them a ring!!

Am I right in thinking Play.com's stock is based in Jersey? That's why delivery takes a good few days.

I could be wrong, but I'm sure that's the case with Play. If it was dispatched on the 17th though, I would definitely think about giving them a ring if you don't get it tomorrow.

My boyfriend rang Play today to ask how long they will be 'Awaiting Stock' for, as it gives no estimation on their site. Apparently they said it can be anything 'up to 28 days' :eek:

So for all of you who have ordered with play, and still have that status, be prepared to wait! I don't think Play know themselves when they will be getting them, so just giving the 28 day answer, but I do have a feeling it could be a while..

And even then there's no guarantee that you'll get one.

Not sure why people put themselves through the torture of trying to get one in the UK when it's so easy to buy from Amazon in France or Germany.

Just ordered one from Argos for home delivery again, they say it's gonna be delivered on wednesday, but when I ordered one few weeks ago paid for delivery etc, arranged parents to wait in all day, it never arrived! So fingers crossed its gonna come.

Also spent over £50 so will get the free £5 gift voucher! (well that covers most of the delivery charge):rolleyes:

Just checked website and not showing in stock - but they still took my order!

I suggested this to my boyfriend, but he is determined to get one from the UK, and he will only pay the RRP price. I've told him that the France/Germany ones are the same, except for the manual which can be downloaded in English... but he reckons this would effect it's future resale value? So I think he's just going to wait. I've had the stock checker up the past few days, and if I manage to get one elsewhere I'll cancel the Play order.

I've just checked and it says "Sorry, delivery service is not available on the items selected".

Either you were lucky, or there was some sort of glitch on their site. Hope you get it.

I ordered over the phone, which is what I did last time, when I phoned last week they guy said they were due some in on the 22nd, when I tried at 8.30am this morning, lady said they were def due some in this week, so I asked is it worth me phoning later today, she advised to try after 12.00, I'm having it delivered to my work so I don't have to ask anyone to wait in all morning for me - just in case :mad:.
