Wii fit - Stock/where to buy
Comments
-
Saw a family buying one over the counter at Game in Kingston on Saturday so I assume they have regular deliveries...0

I got a delivery from https://www.game.co.uk for two of the Wii boards with two games. Carnival and Beach Sports for £99.99 each which I thought in the current climate was not too bad at all especially when you take into account they were delivered for nowt to my door.
They don't have the package in stock just now and I ordered on the 14th September, with delivery today. Although not in stock might be worthwhile keeping an eye out at game for this pack.
Oh and before anyone asks / judges, neither of the packs are for me or ebay, they are for a friends. I'm skint just now so mine in true MSE style will have to wait.
PS quidco is available online too and you can get some game reward points to boot if you have their reward card bringing the price down a little bit further.0 -
I suggested this to my boyfriend, but he is determined to get one from the UK, and he will only pay the RRP price. I've told him that the France/Germany ones are the same, except for the manual which can be downloaded in English... but he reckons this would effect it's future resale value? So I think he's just going to wait. I've had the stock checker up the past few days, and if I manage to get one elsewhere I'll cancel the Play order.
To answer your stubborn boyfriend's worries:
a) Buying Wii Fit from France or Germany won't affect its resale value. Why should it? It's the same product.
b) Why does he think he's going to want to resell it? Is he (or are you) likely to get bored with it that quickly? There's a fair few games coming out soon that will support the Wii Balance Board - admittedly a lot of them look like rubbish, but there are some potential goodies in amongst the garbage.0 -

I'm not entirely sure why he thinks that, but I think it's because the manual would be a print out (as the English one needs to be downloaded)
And yes - he gets bored of things very quickly
Thanks for the info though0 -

Yeah, I saw this bundle the other day and mentioned it on here as I think it's quite good compared to some of the other overpriced bundles which are around. Carnival is still retailing at around £15 (although currys had it on clearance for a tenner today, for those lucky enough to grab one) and Beach Sports it about £12 on Play.. so £99 isn't a bad price!0 -

A minor issue. Some people with Wii Fit that was bought in the UK could lose their manuals and enclose a downloaded printed one instead, so would that also devalue theirs? Can't say it would worry me if I was buying it, just as long as the Balance Board and Wii Fit disc worked okay. And yes - he gets bored of things very quickly :rolleyes:Thanks for the info though0 -
Got my Wii Fit from Game that I ordered last week as a package with Wii play and an extra nunchuck, which I would have bought anyway since we only just got the Wii.Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

You've been ratting around looking for the wii fit but cant find one and I, yes I happen to see them in Tesco......whats trolling about that??? ?? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ? ? ? eh ? ?? eh????? well then.
"Jealous"? What a lame argument, not to mention intellectually lazy. Try and think of something better next time (assuming you can, of course). And why would anyone be jealous? They only want one Wii Fit - what's the use in having three?
Personally, I've not been ratting [sic] around looking for a Wii Fit. I simply ordered one from Amazon France and, at some point, it will arrive. Hardly taxing: a couple of mouse clicks and keys pressed and that was all it took. I wonder how much petrol and energy you spent faffing around in Tesco?
Anyway, enjoy your feelings of superiority. I suppose they have to come from somewhere (or anywhere?).
P.S. £100 seems a bit too much - you can get them from Amazon Marketplace for less than £90.0 -
