Big W/Woolworths in Maesglas Newport made an announcement instore about 30 minutes ago asking customers to make their way to the entertainment desk as they were selling the wii and wii fit together for £249 don't think its the best offer but might be useful if someone needs both.
  • Ouch! Now that's what I call cutting it fine!

Is that a guaranteed delivery date?
    I hope so x
  • I'd check if I were you. Kays and the like can be a bit 'flexible' with their delivery dates.

I was shafted for a wii last Xmas by Kays. Get it somewhere else in the meantime and then cancel the Kays one. If the Kays one does arrive I am sure that someone will take it off your hands without any problems.

Play.com order still says awaiting stock, hopefully it will change in the week.

Had the stock checker up yesterday and today and there's been nothing.
    What date did you order?

I ordered on the 8th of Sept and status is always showing Awaiting Stock
  • Game in Maidstone state they have two deliveries a week of about 10 boards - they will not reserve them and it is first come first serve - the best they can say is that the deliveries will be in the morning or afternoon. It pays to ask the assistant. I am lucky I have mine - it is good but I have not used it that much - I heard that a higher tech one is coming out for xmas that will blow the old one away!! Don't know if that is true but knowing the gaming companies, it probably is.
Food and Smellies Shop target £50 pw - managed average of £49 per week in 2013 down to £38.90 per week in 2016

Nahhh, not a chance. Nintendo wouldn't be that stupid, just imagine how much it would irritate existing Wii Fit owners and developers. Such rumours are often only put about to try and stifle sales of an existing product. It probably emanated from the fingers of a Microsoft or Sony fanboy. ;)

Where did you 'hear' this anyway? Down the pub or online? If so, where? We need proof (if that's proof enough).
  • hi i managed to pick one up in tesco stevenage on saturday £69.71 not on display you need to ask at customer service hope this helps someone
