  • I saw the Torchwood book in Edgeley, Stockport today - there was no price on the shelf but I'd have nabbed one if I'd known they were only 49p.

Didn't get much of interest today apart from a GoGo's Crazy Bones 2010 Annual 49p and the Ugly Betty book in a hard slipcase - 99p.

just spoke to someone, who I know, that was training at Normaton Rd and was told that they were still keeping Normanton Rd open, but obviously concentrating filling the new store as shelves were a bit empty at Norm rd. Didnt look like they had anything new from last week. Roll on Saturday when the new Bradshaw Way store opens and regards to the min spend of £5 to get your parking back, now that aint gonna be hard for me, lol

Went today, bit of a disappointment, bit of an anticlimax :(

Nice clean new store but nothing different to Normanton Rd really, slightly wider aisles and the layout is a mirror image.

I asked about the minimum spend for the £2 car park refund and they said "in theory" yes it should be £5 but they will refund the £2 providing you spend at least £2 :)
