Read welshchocolatelovers post (page 126) about the permanent hair dye @99p, colour 'deep reddish brown' & today decided i needed cheering up (even at risk of laughing at my own hair!) so went for it and have dyed my hair, it really is a stunning colour, i'm very happy, the only thing it doesn't include which is more than likely why it's priced so reasonably is a conditioner, but you can just use any i did and left it on for a few extra mins and my hair is lovely and soft and shiney and reddish brown!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So anyone else out there thinking about it...........go for it!!

Time for a new thread? Next person with a new HB bargain please start a new thread - no 4.

Here's my HB tip - packs of 5 green velcro garden ties are 29p, often £2-plus elsewhere. They are really useful all round the house.

Grrrr I was going to go in there today but got distracted by the sudden downpour. Hopefully they'll still have some tomorrow.

At the Deepdale Rd, Preston store yesterday, they had Mills and Boon paperbacks.

I can't quite remember the price, but I think they may have been 39p. I looked in some of the covers and they were published in 2009, so quite recent.
