Selby store seems to be catching up with some of the previously mentioned bargains at last. I saw today:
    * Shilpa Shetty perfume - £1.99 (there were about 9 left on the shelves in the entrance - as there's no perfume display at this store)
    * Click Start pink and green toys, £24.99, plus a few of the games left at £1.99 - Toy Story, Disney Princess and Bob The Builder
    * Charm keyrings 29p (RRP £4.99-£5.99), these are nice for the money as they have quite a few charms on each. I bought one as a gift and another 2 for use in crafts.
    * Honey and rice milk body polish gift set 99p - looks like a nice Xmas present with two tubs of bath stuff and what looks a bit like a cross between a flower and a mop head. :rotfl:
They also had some of the Hannah Montana boxes.

Very packed, walked in and walked out again. Will have to visit again soon though.

Ohhhhh....my friend lives in Tamworth and I always get birthday and Xmas gifts for her children from Home Bargains because with there not being one in Tamworth she couldn't see what a cheapskate I was being :rotfl:

  • Hi All

I have a 10 year old DD, and I have just bought this in my local Home Bargains (Manchester) towards xmas, and it looks really good.

    StandardStockArticle.4746.jpg

Its a "My Spy Family" deluxe spy kit for girls. It was £3.99 at HB, but these are normally a tenner (plus £4.95 delivery) from the Cartoon Network online shop.

It contains.... Classified lockable notebook, For my eyes compact mirror, secret spies friendship key chain, secret spy pen, mission notelets and envelopes, secret message holographic stickers and a code wheel.

It's a fairly big box and looks far better than the pic shows.

just a quick foodie mention, there are stir-fry sauce sachets, lemon or thai-green for 25p, plus jars of soy with ginger for 29p.
also, the Tilda microwave bags of Rice with a cinammon flavour, nice, about 60p.
also luxury fruit and nuts bag £1.40 for 250g - great price and delicious too!
  • In Rhyl yesterday they had Disney Cars armchairs. They were proper upholstered ones and very cute. They were £29.99, RRP £70 I think. Will have to go back and get one today for my DS.
