The Chelmsley Wood one opened today and it was heaving, couldnt really look properly, but still got a few bits.
DD3 was well chuffed with her Hannah Montanna notebook and pen both 49p and dd2 loved the bargain lemon/ lime water for 19p.
Will go and have a proper look in a few days, hopefully it will be a bit calmer.

Hey all, I'm not sure if I've seen the scrapbooking kits - are they adult ones or kids ones? Are they high quality? Thanks.

Ps I got my care bears in hillsbro, thanks for the help, watched the DVD this morning, it took me back a few years!!

emujuice, they are quite hard to spot, they were amongst the card making things in thornaby store, they look like papers packs. They come in 3 different packs, weddings, blue for baby boys type ones and pink for girlly types ones.

That was the only 3 i spotted last week at thornaby, great value for 99p, I bought the wedding type one and used most of it, minus the rings and i do bits

I have been along to our local store in Halifax a few times when someone has had a good find and they NEVER have them. The best one was a Thornton's Easter Egg, but no rag rollers. Anyone else find this?

Hi emujuice - how's the scrapbooking going?

They don't have any of the albums in Hillsborough but they do have the papers. They're on the stationery aisle. about half way down - after the pens but before the childrens stuss. Thye might have been near the incredible hulk files and folders. About face height if you're 5ft3 inches tall. They are difficult to spot because they're just laid on top of each other and as they're quite thin they just blend into the general melee. They also have some card making kits by the same company.

I wasn't overly impressed by them but they'd be ok to just use a few bits and bobs from and still worth the money. They had baby boy, baby girl and wedding ones when I last looked.

They also have the kits in the Parkway store but this time they're on the end row with the greetnigs cards and hung up. They had one extra one there - birds and leaves mostly. But again no albums.
